Clear The Mind
” Having courage does not mean that we are unafraid. Having courage and showing courage means we face our fears. We are able to say, I have fallen, but I will get up.” Maya Angelou
Watercolor, Acrylic and Pastel
24 x 19.5 Professionally matted and framed
I painted this after the death of my husband who for 8 years suffered with Alzheimer’s. I wrote many of my feelings in this painting that I held within after 8 years as a wife/care partner . It is a painting of hope, resiliency and love. My mantra through the long goodbye was ” Know you will Thrive and not just Survive” this difficult and sad life experience.
